“Shout out for their allergy assistance”
We were a party of 5, including kids 10 and 13. It's not alway easy to find a place that can accommodate a party of five, and a kid with allergies to all nuts can really complicate travel. The staff at this restaurant couldn't have been more helpful. They talked directly to the kitchen staff about e...verything, helped our kid figure out which menu items were safe, AND offered to cook her something else if she couldn't find something acceptable on the menu. Our group tried a salad, a chicken dish, soup and a wide variety of gyoza and appetizers. Drinks too. Everything was good. The restaurant is lovely. We were happy to find this one for sure.

“Yummy Gyoza and mixture of Japanese and Chinese food”
We stumbled into this casual restaurant/bar near our hotel. It is a local after work dinner place that serves draft beer, gyoza, meat and veggie dishes and best crispy fried noodles I have (similar to Hongkong style crispy chowmein). Our kids love this place so much we ate there twice during our 4 n...ight stay in Kyoto.

“Highly recommend, great food and value ”
My wife picked this from Trip Advisor recommendations and it didn't disappoint. Hungry for food and a beer after a day exploring I wondered if we didn't overdo our order (see picture). Ten dishes a beer, wine and vodka cost us $68 AUD and we were full. The mayo, lemon prawns were interesting and ve...ry tasty. A new item on the menu was a stir fry eggplant with mince pork which was delicious. Interior design is New York style and was bright and clean, this place was a real find. For those staying at the Brighton Kyoto hotel this is directly across the road from their courtesy bus drop off/pick up point. Would go back and definitely recommend.

“Wish I Discovered it Earlier”
I happened upon this place as I was walking in the general area of my hotel. The decor was modern and inviting. The staff was very prompt, friendly, and spoke good English. The menu had lots of choices. I decided on their signature gyoza and they were delicious. I also had fried tofu with minced mea...t and melted cheese which was also wonderful. I finished up with a banana and black sesame spring roll for dessert. All that with a beer for 1400 yen. It was my last night in Kyoto so I will be unable to return.
