Shigetomi

A tiny local sushi restaurant run by a couple - husband the sushi chef, wife runs the restaurant. And amazing, fresh, delicious sushi!! A true find.

Please ignore the recent negative reviews. Our experience was wonderful, easy, and peaceful. We talked to both the owners who are wife and husband and they made our dining experience amazing. The food was sooo good and plentiful. The sushi was fresh and delicious. It was so cute and local, much bett...er than a random big sushi place. It is cash only but the owners were okay with us going to the atm after our meal. We had a great time and a conversation, they are so sweet and interested in our travels. I highly recommend this to anyone! We would absolutely return.

Small cozy place. Courteous couple. Small portion for the almost 5000 yen set dinner, food quality very average. Have to order at least one drink per table, not impressed. Overall we are disappointed.

Went based on reviews. We had nigiri sushi including maguro (good/average), tai (good/average), hamachi (terrible, tough, chewy, tendon-like), amaebi (good/average) and a few other things. The rice was falling apart and oddly textured. The place is very clean and comfortable, the couple who run i...t are super nice, and the prices are good. If you're hungry and want sushi this is an okay place to go but it is nothing about which to write home (particularly if you can get good sushi at home). Food 1 People 5 Atmosphere 3

***** Sushi as expected: A small restaurant, 10-12 seats only. Very experienced Sushi master and his wife doing the service, both doing their job with passion. High quality of food. Locals had been there as well.
