“A good Korean barbecue”
Grilled Beef Masuichi Sakaimachi Nishiki is a restaurant specializing in Korean barbecue. There is a stove built into the table; the ingredients are brought to the table by the staff and the diners themselves prepare their dishes. The classic accompaniments of Korean cuisine, such as kimchi, are ser...ved. The customer chooses between some meat options, including offals. The service is attentive, although a bit slow. Prices are reasonable considering the quality of the meat served.

“Good food, slow service”
My wife, almost 2 year old son and I went on Sunday night. There was an hour wait. I can tell why, it wasn't very busy but service is a little slow. Not rude and in fact our server was SUPER helpful in explaining everything on the menu and showing us the proper way to eat each dish. They don't ru...sh you but it takes time to get your food. For two of us with drinks and sides it was about $75 USD. I had the tongue which was good. We had the local beef, also very good, but the best was the thinly sliced prime rib. Cook it fast for 5 seconds on each side, dip it in the egg sauce, add green onion and enjoy. For families with small children, they had a high chair which is always super helpful.

“Wonderful beef”
We loved it. Managed to get a private room despite no reservation. Beef was delicious. Take it all. Great wide selection. And staff really look after you. Very clean and the tepanyaki is kept superbly clean. No smoke and quality of vegetables and food of high standard. The beers go down well. Don'...t miss the dessert. And it's all very well priced and economical. Enjoy. Go with 4 or more people to have a good time.

“Great BBQ place in central Kyoto”
We were wondering the around the area and found this place place by chance. We walked in and were greeted by the friendly staff. They were very helpful. We ordered a few meat dishes. One of our favourite had to be the pork shoulder. We also liked a lot their thin slice beef. The cheeks were not bad ...either. We also ordered the thick cut of the day and the meat itself almost melt in your mouth. Overall, we had a pleasant dinner at this restaurant Highly recommend to anyone visiting Kyoto
