I figured out how to book a dinner reservation on Hot Pepper trying my best to translate the required fields from English and not having a Japanese phone number (over a month ahead). I reserved the set menu with A5 wagyu and tiger prawn for 2. The restaurant was easy to find, in the basement of a qu...iet building not far away from Dotonbori. We were only the 2nd couple dining here at 6pm, but they finished soon after we arrived and the staff made us feel like VIPs. The chef takes pride in her work, preparing the food with precision and care. Each course was perfectly paced, and the 2 cuts of melt in the mouth wagyu were divided over several courses using other items inbetween to round out the meal. Tiger prawns were pulled live from the tank, and we were even served some of the shells that had been crisped up and surprisingly good. The other items included seared beef, salad with 2 dressing options, garlic rice, garlic chips, grilled vegetables, soup and pickles, and fruit with sorbet. We'll worth the money, and it was a lovely end to our trip.

I wanted my family to experience Kobe Wagyu beef Teppanyaki style and we were simply wandering around the Dotombori district when we were checking out the menu of one place, when I spotted this place down the stairs The menu looked like it would take care of us with the set dinner selections and th...e place looked empty - so we chanced our luck, having not made any reservations The decor is cozy, with limited seating around the food prep centre - as it should be A stylish establishment that befits the character of what the place was offering We basically had the whole place to ourselves - it felt like the ultimate VIP treatment The maitre’d was exceptional all evening and making sure our 7yr old boy was well looked after Our chef was as exceptional and prepared a phenomenal delight for us Both were extremely friendly and made us feel at home The abalone, the prawns and the fillet was all cooked to perfection Price wise, you pay for what you get and it was 100% worth it in my opinion Highly recommend

Got a tip from a friend who was not able to gets table. We got our hotel to make a reservation - and you have to. The olace was awesome. Only seating like 10-12 people. Great food and awesome experience. It is located downstairs so you are in the right place - just Take the stairs downstairs :) ...Great food, great service and they have a nice wine list as Well!

If you are looking for the perfect Wagyu experience this is the place to go. My wife and I were only in Osaka for three nights and we ate here on the first, having made a reservation before we travelled to Japan, based on TA reviews. We enjoyed it so much that we booked it again for our third night!... It was just as good the second time and the two ladies - one front of house and the other a genius on the Teppen were great hosts. The beef from Kagoshima was just divine.
