If you are looking for the perfect Wagyu experience this is the place to go. My wife and I were only in Osaka for three nights and we ate here on the first, having made a reservation before we travelled to Japan, based on TA reviews. We enjoyed it so much that we booked it again for our third night!... It was just as good the second time and the two ladies - one front of house and the other a genius on the Teppen were great hosts. The beef from Kagoshima was just divine.

Juju was one of the most memorable meals from our trip to Osaka. The set I chose included a salad, mixed vegetables, turban shell, foie gras, beef fillet, bread and dessert. There was an English menu available. You have to know what you’re walking into when visiting a place like Juju. Most of th...e items take time to cook, and I found it to be a unique and enjoyable experience being able to watch the chef prepare the dishes in front of us. Juju isn’t the place to go to if you’re famished and prefer not to eat your meal dish by dish. It is also on the pricier side. All the ingredients were fresh, and were cooked and seasoned perfectly. My beef was cooked medium rare and it was so delicious. I liked the fact that the beef portion wasn’t cooked and served to us all in the one go as we were able to pace ourselves and enjoy the meal more. Other tasty standouts that weren’t included in my set were the garlic rice (I chose the bread instead) and the crispy prawn head and legs. It’s quite an intimate restaurant space and the customer service was top notch. Staff were friendly and welcoming. The chef explained each dish to us and advised on which sauce would be the best accompaniment. He even offered to take a photo of us and as we were leaving, came out to say goodbye. Being located in Dotonbori – a melting pot for good food – you can definitely find more affordable teppanyaki places and other eateries around. However, for the quality of the meal, customer service and overall experience, I really enjoyed dining at Juju. I would highly recommend going to Juju if you don’t mind spending a little extra, are celebrating a special occasion or looking for a fine dining teppanyaki experience in Osaka.

If you like teppaniaki just try ! A bit expensive but quality is there do not hesitate places are limited so pre booking is essential

Both our boys enjoyed it but my wife and I needed more, we were still hungry after the meal and for the amount it cost we should have been satisfied. Better value elsewhere in Japan.
