“great food, service and vibes of the restaurant”
the foods were unique with western food combined with Japanese style. the steak was flavorfull and soft. the appetizer was fresh and delicious. the service was also great and overall vibe of the restaurant felt like traditional japanese restaurant.

“Best Steak in Kyoto”
Their steak was wonderful! I think it was the best I've had in Japan so far. The vibes are top notch, perfect for a date or a dinner with friends.

“Local colour, and quite delicious”
A truly unpretentious local spot with its own energy and colour, in the eastern hills near Shisendo garden. More European in style than Japanese, the sauce on the beef entree is sublime. A hearty lunch is guaranteed.

“Welcoming neighborhood restaurant”
Excellent steaks and stews - a nice break from udon and soba. A friendly family atmosphere in a local neighborhood. Polished and comfortable decor. Not hard to find with google maps (somewhat near Shisendo if you're a garden lover). Reasonable prices. We returned for a second meal (dinner) during... our Kyoto stay.
