La terrasse

We took a complete course and some more. Although many of the dishes were facinating, they have completly ignored some of our wishes. A vegetarian got clamps, some hot drinks were completly forgotten, and from the middle of the evening no explenation was given to the dishes. Also, a request regardin...g a child's meal was completly ignored. An effort is very visiable, but much more effort is needed to be worth the price. Until improvments are done - it is not worth the price. Sorry...

My friend and I had a lovely night at this wonderful restaurant! All the dishes were excellent. Especially the fish wich was perfectley cooked, and we know what we are talking about beeing from Norway.

The rain could have ruined our trip to Nara Park.. but La Terrasse turned it around. We walked almost 20 minutes, almost drenched... and I was pleasantly surprised but the hospitable gesture when the staff ran from a distance just to get us a bigger umbrella to hide from the rain. I can imagine how ...beautiful the view could have been if we were seated at the outdoor terrace overlooking Nara Park. We were very well taken of and the food.... the picture says a thousand words. Portioning was just right for me, but quite little for my 'always hungry' travel buddy. I will recommend this place, if money is not a concern and you want a different dining experience.

Food was great but not "wow" and the service was a bit chaotic according to international standard. Nevertheless good French food and ambiance in a city that's arguably the most japanese.

Went to this place today and had an awesome time they bought us coffee that was outstanding after many hours of us walking around nara. We decided to order the mixed meats dish and a green salad n garlic bread awesome The assorted roast meat plate was perfection n weĺl presented On a sizzling plate ...costing 3980 yen satisfing 3 of us. Will be back for sure
