LA TERRASSE ALL DAY DINING

We couldn't have enjoyed this dinner more ! The wine was good the beef platter was delicious (especially as we have been in Japan so long and missing a good steak) and the pork ribs platter also really good. We had two of their desserts from their patisserie which were scrummy . Happy customers :) w...ould 100% recommend !

I'm not sure if this place has come into new management but we had a great experience at La Terrasse this past week. It's a hip, modern restaurant with English speaking waiters and bar tenders who gave us super fast service. The prices were average but the ribs were fantastic! I would avoid the pizz...a as it was rather plain and not very large (think dinner plate size). We were there at a later time in the evening and the only tourists in the whole place.

I was turned away from this place because they were closing. Then, 2 hours later, I walked by it on the way to my hotel and it was bustling. There were tables available when I arrived, so clearly they just didn't want to serve me, an American tourist. Based on other reviews it seems that I was sp...ared a terrible meal.

We were looking for a place recommended by Lonely Planet but it was closed. La Terrasse was nearby and we were ready to eat! There was a buffet plus a choice of a pasta dish. The pasta was a bit average but we enjoyed the buffet and refilled our plates a few times. We especially enjoyed the salads a...nd pizza. A variety of non-alcoholic drinks were included in the price and service was good. It seemed fairly popular with the locals. Rating 3.5

At first we were met by the two young workers, male and female, rolling their eyes to one another, maybe just an inside thing, but still. We ordered our food but only my partner got his food, and only when he had already finished his (so it wouldn't get cold) I got mine. I had ordered red wine and a... steak, but the wine was too bad to drink. The steak turned out to only be a steak with nothing on the side. The place itself looked as if it was a bit better, but they played Barbie Girl by Aqua. The price for this disaster was very high, and considering the poor service and mediocre food, I would never go there again nor recommend it to anyone, unfortunately, because the interior is very nice.
