“Delicious!!”
Two girls had supper there and ate 2 sets, one is barbecue and the other is curry. The meat was really delicious, and we also had a salad and the stewed internal organs. Definitely deserves your visit. Like it!

If you like ox tongue, then you have to visit this place. The place served one of the best ox tongue dishes. No need explanation, just go there.

“Great food, casual setting”
Good was awesome and at a great price. Good if you don't want too much fuss and are hungry. The nigiri gyutan was the best thing on the menu.

“Dying to go back”
Okay maybe grilled ox tongue is not everyone's cup of tea (understatement of the week). But I absolutely love it. Here in Melbourne you can find Japanese restaurants serving thin slices of it, but in Rikyu they are specialised in thick cuts. They are not chewy though, tender and juicy instead. I had... to go back the next day knowing I'll be missing this back home. Tip: if you are like me, order a 1.5 serve!
