Fukutaro

Came to Osaka on a day trip from Kyoto just to satisfy our okonomiyaki craving. Searched and found Fukutaro located on Level 7 of Grand Front Osaka mall. When you see it's a restaurant full of locals only, you know you're likely the right place. Ordered a squid okonomiyaki and paird with a refreshin...g pint of yuzu soda highball was no doubt the best choice ever!

When searching for okonomiyaki near the Osaka train station, we stumbled upon this place up in the food wing of the mall and loved it. There was approximately a 20 minute wait to be seated, but we were able to put our order in while we waited and the food was ready for us nearly immediately upon bei...ng seated. The okonomiyaki was so delicious and served on a hibachi style counter around the kitchen. Highly recommend!
