“Tasty japanese beef”
Came to this place after being recommended by hotel concierge. We went for the set menu which gives a great selection of japanese beef. Tried different cuts, all tasty with different texture. Great service, store manager is funny and friendly. Strongly recommend the garlic rice as well, amazing com...pliment to all the meat choices.

We booked the sukiyaki hana course which is JPY11,500 per person. The beef was delicious! However, they only come with tofu, noodles, mushroom and scallions. We don't like scallions so ask them to change to other vegetables .. but they don't have! Service is excellent and we have our own room. ...Neat!

“Its an excellent shabu shabu restaurant”
This restaurant was recommended by a friend and what we notice right away is the price which averages Y 7,000 per person but since this was highly recommended, our group of 15 took the plunge. Once inside, you will be amazed at the traditional Japanese architecture; wood, tatami mats and the serv...ers are all wearing kimonos. Once seated on the tatami mats, foods from the appetizers, quality cut of beef, vegetables, noodles came in immediately brought in by an army of middle aged servers. You will never be waiting for your food at this restaurant. Since the price is on the high side, it is advisable to come in with an empty stomach so you can truly appreciate the foods being served. In our case, we were not able to finish everything since we were tempted with all the street foods being sold at the Dotombori area.

“Absolutely yummy sukiyaki at Dotonbori”
What a pleasant sukiyaki dinner for us! We found the name Harijyu when looking for a shabu/sukiyaki place to eat at Dotonbori. The place is easy enough to find, and luckily we were able to walk in for a sukiyaki set meal for 7 people! The setting is very Japanese, being in private room and sitting... on tatami with low dining table. They had several prices for the set meal depending on the grade of the beef you choose. We chose the lowest grade, Set Meal A at ¥7000/px. But man, it was such a generous meat at such quality we’ve never had before. So, unless you are an experienced beef afficionado who’s had all the different high to super high grade beef to taste before, you will be more than satisfied with set A. We highly enjoyed our visit to Harijyu and wouldn’s hesitate going back next time if we want to enjoy high-grade beef sukiyaki.
