Gyutan Inosuke Kyotoekibiruzakyubu

Good service, decent food, but I didn't like the soup. The ox tongue stew was real good and the meat decent, but I think for what you get is a bit overpriced, around 5200 yen for 2 persons.

I ordered the dinner set, but found the dishes fairly average. The food was nice, but just not to my expectations - I was expecting something a bit more than 'just ok' across the board. It was within my expected price range, but I probably won't come here a second time.

As we like steaks and ox tongues, we had to try this one out. Watching the chefs grilling the steaks from the waiting area, made us drool. The food was delicious as expected. We ordered several different dishes, so we could taste different cuts and cookings. Overall, satisfied tummy. It's on top of... one of the department stores, near Kyoto station, and they have English menu. Please note it's not an all-you-can-eat restaurant.

Interesting restaurant specializing in ox tongue. I tried the grilled ox-tongue, which was good, if not a little tough. Overall a good meal.
