“Onions + Whirlpool + Burger makes this burger shack”
Located at the tip of Awaji Island, as part of the Michi no Hiroba, in view of the Naruto Whirlpools is this burger joint. The "indoor" eating area is really in disarray. Our table was so sticky, no amount of napkins could have fixed it. Tables are movable so some people can hog all the tables. ... The outdoor eating area is AWESOME. Great view of the Naruto Whirlpool area, a view looking over to Shikoku. Except when the weather doesn't cooperate, you are out of luck. Burgers!!! The burgers are just alright. The patty was relatively small in comparison to the onions. Perhaps that was the goal, after all, it is an 'Onion Kitchen'. The sauteed onions, onion fried bits in the burger were tasty. As for the onion rings, I do take issue that there were only TWO rings to an order of onion rings but they were good. Do not order the fries, they were NOT good. Somebody forgot to add salt and it wasn't in the fryer long enough.

“Great burgers ”
We really enjoyed our beef burger with onions. Service was prompt and staff friendly and helpful. We did notice that a little later on there was a queue waiting for service but I understand that the burgers are very popular with both local people and tourists alike. Would go back.

“Excellent burger and view”
The shop serves both rank 1 and 2 burgers in Japan's local cuisine championship. The Onion Beef Burger uses succulent Awaji Beef (which is basically almost Kobe beef, because most of Kobe beef is produced on Awaji Island), a deep fried onion patty fried to perfection and it's both sweet, yet has a s...light kick remaining. The buns are also toasted to perfection and I swear this is the best burger I've had. In fact it's so popular that even past 2pm, there was a line of at least 20-30 people on a weekday.

“Awaji Beef.... Oishi”
Super fun afternoon with friends. For 1082 yen rough 10$ you get to enjoy the best of the island Awaji Beef and onion. Plus you get fries and soda. Can’t beat it. Also the view is fantastic of the ocean and the famous whirlpools. A must see stop for all visiting the island.
