“Good Italian lunch”
We were visiting Nara and when it was time for lunch the kids wanted something different so we found this spot. The dishes were all good - pizza, pasta and a salad. We also enjoyed a glass of wine. The portions were small so the kids went later to McDonald's - haha, they are teenagers and needed mor...e food. Regardless the food was tasty.

“Pizza”
I was looking for some italian food because i needed something that reminded me of home. I was randomly walking when i bumped into this restaurant. Don’t start worrying when you get in, the interiors have nothing to do with the pizzas. As an italian I was shocked with the quality and taste of the pi...zzas. If I wasn’t in Japan I wouldn’t have known that it was made by a japanese person. I highly recommend it.

Great Sharing pizza as starter and marvellous pasta as dinner, creative dessert with glass of wine or fresh beer… one adress Trattoria Piano in Nara Japan!

Great small place in Nara. Very surprised with the quality of the pizza on a wooden pizza oven. Highly recommended when in Nara.

“The perfect pizza!”
Not one to eat food that is not traditional when on holiday but we could smell the pizza cooking and we were drawn in. We shared a pizza and it was superb! Freshly made, tasty toppings (there is a choice of 3). Perfect thickness for us, right amount of topping with a cold beer could we ask for more..., no! Oh perhaps another pizza.
