iN THE GREEN

We have been coming here since it opened. About 2-4 times a year. We like this place because the menu changes regularly, the food quality is decent, and fairly quick service. Free mall parking is also very convenient. The menu changed again. The mushroom pasta is gone but they now have a ver...y nice seafood pasta. The big change was shrinkflation. Their antipasto platter has shrunk but the price is the same, their steak shrank by an easy 30 percent (still tasty but it was 4 bites only), and their pizza shrank to personal size. The menu has been simplified. The food portion is smaller. Prices are about the same. There is an obvious lack of staffing, the poor waitress was running around. We will go again when the menu changes but it has definitely changed for the worse since its opening.

Great location and food is good..selection is not bad either. Nice that it is open all day too. Just a pity about the LOUD background music. Not conducive for chatting with friend/colleagues. If the music was softer/lower so it is proper background music...it would be so much better. Be nice if they... served food all day, as I fancied a salad mid afternoon...but only drinks and desserts. Otherwise....a nice place to sit down relax and let the world go by..

This is NOT fine dining, it is upper casual fare. Brand new restaurant that just opened a couple of months ago. They have a wood fired pizza open, make Italian thin pizzas that do not skimp on the cheese or the meat. Salad for a meals (which is fairly rare find in Japan), cold platter that wasn't... just a bit of prosciutto and olives. They had an interesting choices for pastas, we tried the crab pasta as well as the bacon / onion pasta - the use of fresh pasta was a pleasant surprise. There are a total of three "Italian" restaurants on the fourth floor, this is the best of the group.
