“Great food”
Great tasting lunch. Very nice food, delicious steak and good cold beer. Definitely to recommend

“Hasn't changed since the last time we were here.”
We were here about 4 years ago, and we discovered that we had the exact same menu items as last time. Every restaurant in this neighborhood is overpriced. Considering the location, at least these folks are not gouging. Food is decent. The udon, salad, and the steak with curry --- all were decen...t. Service is slower than what is expected, but we didn't mind because the AC was cool and the outside was close to the temperature we expect in hell.

“Snowcone heaven”
Stopped for a strawberry snowcone. It was delicious and perfect for a hot day. Nice air conditioning and free water. The staff was very attentive and you can also order food

“Tough beef”
We went here because beef was a feature on the displayed menus. The steak we had was disappointing. It was tasty enough but was tough and chewy. Due to that I cannot recommend this place.

“Pretty good lunch option”
Located on the second floor, part of the Hannari Hokkori Square, the same complex as the Randen Arashiyama Station is this cafe that offers lunch. We really enjoyed both their beefsteak lunch and their shabushabu pork noodles. Both were simple and tasty. Considering we are at a tourist mecca, ...the price is moderate. (still pricey for what you get) It is a good option especially if you are wanting something not too Japanese.
