“Great Gyoza, get there in good time as you will have to wait.”
Fantastic good at a reasonable price. Take a ticket as soon as you arrive. We had to queue for an hour but only towards the end did we realise that if you scan the QR code on your ticket you can check your place in the queue so we could have gone to a local bar after all. Very small place, 14 covers... tops but worth the wait.

“Every item is delicious”
Very delicious. We missed it everyday after we come back Taiwan. The menu is simple but every item is delicious even beer tastes better. Would like to try it anytime everyday.

“Mouthwatering meal!!!”
Amazing food!!! Very tasty and great value for money. A surprising special was the potato salad. Definitely a must go to in Kyoto

“Simply delicious!”
Simply delicious gyozas while in Gion district. Menu is not very varied but I think that's why they have such good Gyoza, they stick to what they're good at! Do try both garlic and ginger versions, you'll love them both! You do have to wait for a while, but if you write your name in the list they ...have at the entrance, they will guarantee a spot for you. I had to wait for 1.5hrs but could go and do some sightseeing in the process. And... Due to the coronavirus outbreak, they are following very strict measures, check out picture

“Overhyped but tasty appetizer”
This restaurant definitely was a bit over hyped. We saw great reviews so we headed over at 5.30pm to sign our names on the board hanging outside. There were already a few names but being off peak season not too many that when we went back at 6pm opening time we were seated right away. The dumplings ...themselves are only 500 yen for 8 and come in either garlic or ginger flavour. We tried both and they were very tasty but you also need to buy a drink per person. Drinks started at 330 so this can add up quickly. Although they were served fast, they were small, and the line up outside of people waiting til you finish can be a bit uncomfortable, so we left after only 30 minutes and got a second dinner to actually feel full. Great tasty appetizer but not worth the hype if you're looking for a proper meal.
