“Great Kyoto izakaya”

We found this izakaya by chance on a rainy night in Kyoto. It's great. We had an excellent dinner with plenty of vegetarian choice, lots of beers etc and the bill did not break the bank or even get close. Service was very good and extremely friendly. Although the staff didn't speak much English, we... managed to communicate easily and successfully. Well worth a visit.
