We had a very good experience of Japanese hospitality. We were treated as if we know each other for a long time. We ordered sukiyaki and our host was kind enough to prepare it for us. The sukiyaki I'm used to had a lot of soup but this was more of grilled meat marinated in sukiyaki base. Still, the ...food tasted awesome! We had good conversation with our host and she was kind to give us directions for Arashiyama. We wish her more success.

Fantastic food with a good price tag! Very close to The Golden Temple tourist attraction, if you’re trying to find a place to grab some lunch. Really recommend the Japanese beef steak with salad!

Almuerzo rápido de preparar 10-15 minutos y muy rico, servicio amable y atento, equilibrado con varias carnes para elegir y verduras. Lo recomiendo. Daros prisa que se llenan las mesas. Quick lunch in a comfortable place close to the Kinkaku-ji, balanced meal with grilled vegetables and several mea...ts to choose. I totally recommend it. Kind and effective service. Hurry up, it gets full very quickly

Small restaurant so you have to be lucky to get a table. Excellent Lamb Sukiyaki and Beef Curry. Great staff, speak good English and are very helpful.

I first came here over 5 years ago with my two Dutch friends and ended up eating here. Little did we know that this place will mean something. We kept coming back during our week stay in Kyoto and it was a great time for great food and certainly many drinks. This place left such an impression that I... wanted to go back again when I do return to Japan. After so many years, I finally came back and felt like I never left. This place feels like home to me and I'm glad that the atmosphere and especially the food is still as great as ever. If you're in the area, give this a chance. Who knows, maybe you'll find something special about this place like I did.
