Toniroma Iommoru Kyoto

We arrived on Sunday evening without reservation awaiting more than one hour. We ground the waiting worthwhile cause the food was good with reasonable portion , with cozy environment and excellent service . We noted that there was staff shortage but staff Kaz worked diligently and responsibly to s...erve us . Actually Kaz was the receptionist, the waiter and the cashier who was occupied the whole night but he still served with patience and dedication. We appreciated his excellent service and hope the Tony could recognize the contribution and effort of Kaz. We shall visit again next time in Kyoto

Our meal was okay, but had a very chain like feel to it. The ribs were good, but not particularly meaty. Potatoes felt like they were made from a box mix. Waitstaff were okay, but overworked. All in all, a thoroughly average meal.

To be fair, today there were two couples dining here and so I’m writing for everyone. 1- Toni Roma’s Ribs: 6 out 10 2- Toni Roma’s burger: 10 3- Grill Chicken: 9 out of 10 4- Jalapeño Burger: 7 out of 10 We love TR, but unfortunately very disappointed in the coffee. The drinks were regular drin...ks so it’s not fair to judge them. But the coffee was the worst that I had in my entire life. It is for free, but for me was almost an insult; I prefer to pay and have something drinkable instead if to have something so bad, even for free. The company who is managing this restaurant, I feel, should take more care for the image of the Toni Roma’s brand in every aspect of that which is offered for the dining experience. Before I finished to write this review the General Manager came to our table to apologize for the bad taste coffee experience. Seems like the next customers will have a better experience from now on! I will come back to check it out!!

we were getting on the haruka express the following morning and were craving something like steak and chips and were kucky enough to come across tony romas.we know this chain from spain so we booked a table for the evening. good job we booked the place was jumping.thanks to the manager kazuyuki muka...i our evening was really good.good steak and my wifes lamb chops were excellent. well worth seeking out.dont forget to book.
