From the moment I walked into Niyama Kobe Beef in Kyoto, I knew I was in for something special. He showed ...each beautiful cut of beef before cooking it right in front of us with such precision and care. When I took the first bite… it honestly melted in my mouth. The flavor, tenderness, and perfect marbling were next-level — hands down the best beef I’ve ever tasted anywhere in the world. I also appreciated the attention to detail. The staff were incredibly friendly and spoke excellent English, explaining everything clearly and making us feel right at home. The sauces, sides, and even the rice were all perfectly balanced to complement the richness of the meat — not to mention the aroma that fills the room while the chef is grilling. Yes, it’s a splurge, but worth every yen. This is not just a meal; it’s an experience that captures what makes Kyoto dining so special — tradition, artistry, and unforgettable taste. If you’re in Kyoto and want to treat yourself, book a table at Niyama Kobe Beef. Go hungry, take your time, and enjoy every bite. I read all the positive reviews so booked and went along. Are all the positive posts for real. We didn’t stay. It was a barren place with no atmosphere. It was £160 for the steak for two and £7 for a salad. We were the only ones there and it was 7pm. Avoid.

The best food i had during my whole Japan trip!!!!!!!! Very very very good, will come back every day before i leave. The sauce on the kobe beef was the best sauce i ever tasted.
