“A true adventure in fine dining.”
Chef Dan Tominaga, whose culinary credentials include such renowned eateries as New York’s MEGU and Kyoto’s Michelin-starred Sakuragawa, creates magical moments in Another C, his diminutive eight counter-seat establishment, offering patrons an exclusive up-close-and-personal dining experience. Per...mit me, however, to spare you the usual blow-by-blow description of each and every ingested offering, as such a rambling recitation would be totally pointless. Basically, because Another C offers an omakase menu, which literally means “I leave it up to you.” In other words, it is a meal in which the selection, order, and presentation of all culinary items are left entirely to the chef's expertise to surprise and delight the diner… Therefore, such a meal will obviously vary significantly from evening to evening, depending upon what may or may not be available at market on a particular morning. So let me simply say that Chef Tominaga’s creative Japanese cuisine features Kyoto vegetables, local sake, premium seafood, Satsuma Wagyu beef… and will – should you decide to pay a call – totally beguile your palate with a truly marvelous, not-to-be-missed adventure in fine dining.

“Memorable dinner with Chef Dan”
We enjoyed the most incredible dinner in Kyoto with Chef Dan Tominaga of ‘Another C’ ~ 7 courses of carefully prepared and presented small plates that left a lasting impression on each of us. A definite highlight of our ten days in Japan!

We went on the recommendation of my daughter!! it was an amazing meal. the other diners and the chef were all so friendly. Everything we ate was delicious and creative. Wish I could go back again.

“Omakase at it's finest!”
This was one of the most enjoyable meals Ive ever had. Another C has a great little vibe and Chef Tominaga is a great cook and host! He is a one man show and his omakase dinner was spectacular. We enjoyed watching him make it and having conversation just as much as eating it! Truly a 5 star experien...ce in Kyoto.

“Unique and memorable experience!”
This was by far one of the most unique and memorable dining experiences we have ever had! Chef Dan is a one-man show working miracles in a 10 seat intimate dining experience.
