“One of the best in Kyoto”
The owner is very accommodating, friendly and at full service from start to end. Food is incredibly great, highly nutritious, balanced and top class. Atmosphere gives so much authenticity about Japan culture. Waiting isn't actually long as they accommodate you as much as possible. Place is clean ...too. Easy to locate even at night. The price is reasonable and worth every buck and would go back again before leaving Kyoto.

Our visit to the restaurant was exceptional from start to finish. We came as a group of three—myself, my husband, and my sister—and were immediately impressed by the warm, welcoming atmosphere. The staff were not only professional but genuinely kind, smiling, and attentive throughout the entire even...ing. Their approach made the experience feel relaxed yet refined, creating a setting where we could truly enjoy both the food and the company. The dishes we tried were outstanding. Following the staff’s recommendation, we ordered the wagyu, which turned out to be a highlight of the evening. Perfectly marbled, incredibly tender, and cooked with precision, it showcased the kitchen’s strong attention to quality and technique. We also enjoyed Kyoto-style pork, which was rich in flavor and beautifully balanced. Each bite felt thoughtfully crafted, with just the right blend of seasoning and texture.

“Great casual fun dining !!”
Great friendly casual restaurant. Good English speaking staff and a great chef. We chose the shabu shabu and loved the food and relaxed atmosphere. Good wine and sake, kids loved the food and writing a message on the wall afterwards! After struggling to find a local restaurant that didn’t close e...arly this was a fantastic find !!
