KURA Konraddoosaka

We had a wonderful high-end company dinner and enjoyed the entire atmosphere (service level, food quality, decoration, ...).

Teppanyaki is a serious eat in Japan. Kura has it and the added advantage of a marvelous view on the 40th floor of a classy hotel (Hotel Conrad). Yet it stands out more with an exceptional wine list - not a stuffy wine list (I always hate that) but one with well thought out items. To start with, the... collaboration of the restaurant with Champagne J de Telmont is a pleasant one indeed. We chose the Blanc de Blancs to pair with our lobsters. The Sommelier of the house, M. Michael Adjoute, is well versed and does don sound advice. We took his choice of a local Bordeaux blend, a Chateau Mercian, which worked out extremely well. It was a really pleasant and most satisfying meal of our short sojourn in Osaka. Kudos to the restaurant, the chef, M. Michael & everyone else involved!

I had a wonderful omakase lunch here. The service was a great balance of attentiveness and friendliness. The chef was kind and informative. And of course food was well presented and delicious.

We had the most amazing experience at Kura Sushi! We've been in Japan for over a week and it was some of the most fresh, delicious sushi of the trip. Not only was the food amazing but the staff and sushi chef could not have been more attentive, knowledgeable and amazing throughout the entire experie...nce! We were staying in the Conrad Hotel but would 100% come out of our way to eat here again! Highlight of our honeymoon!

Wow… the chefs are outstanding, the food is creative and so fresh. The drinks and sake menu are delicious. Really very happy. Hard to explain this place - but between the view, great drinks, solid hospitality and next level food - this place is a homerun .
