“don't hesitate - just go and enjoy”
We arrived without a reservation and luckily there was just enough room for us (we recommend to make a reservation to be sure). We had a really great evening: delicious food, freshly prepared right in front of you. Chef Obata makes you feel right at home and explains his dishes. His restaurant is s...mall but cosy. The value for money here is excellent. Chef Obata also speaks English, which makes it nice to be able to have a conversation. He is funny and attentive, but above all a good cook. He does everything himself, but it all runs very smoothly. We definitely recommend this restaurant.

“Unforgettable and delicious”
Issei Obata spoiled us with his delicacies throughout the evening and explained everything in detail. As you can watch Issei preparing the food and he is happy to explain everything, you learn a lot. We had an unforgettable evening with Issei. Thank you, Issei.

“I'm vegan and I love this place”
It was an amazing experience. Chef Obata is very kind and makes a delicius food for vegan and vegetarian as well. He prepers own, homemade ingredients, so his tempura tastes amazing. Exceptional service and performance. The restaurant is small, but cosy.

“Very nice experience, totally recommended”
A very small, intimate spot tucked away on the first floor of a townhouse along the street. There are just a few seats at the bar, where the Chef works his magic right in front of you. That’s what makes this place special — you don’t order from a menu. Instead, you discuss your preferences (for exam...ple, whether you’d like something with meat or vegetarian), and the Chef curates the experience for you. You get to watch as each dish is skillfully prepared and served, one by one. I’m usually not a fan of tempura, but here the technique truly brings out unique flavors. It’s also worth chatting with the Chef — he’s open, engaging, and eager to share insights about his craft. Altogether, it’s a delightful and uncommon dining experience.

“Amazing dinner!”
This was Ana amazing experience that we fell upon while wandering the alleyways in Osaka. Issei was a beautiful, humble and talented chef who wowed us with his food!
