“Fell like Icarus for Icaro’s Gold Rush Pizza”
The location is convenient when visiting the Nara Palace Site, just around ten minutes of walking from the Suzaku Gate. The atmosphere is nice an we easily walked in, no waiting time. But the main highlight of our dinner was the Gold Rush pizza, which had so many fabulous flavors blending together n...icely. The experience was truly like Icarus, falling after eating a very warm pizza with a gorgeous drizzle of spicy olive oil. We had two pizzas (the melanzane e salame was also delicious!), so they were served separately for best temperature. The staff were also very attentive, and the service was impeccable. Overall, for these two pizzas we spent less than 5000 yen, so the quality matches the price, very good value.

“Great visit”
Pizzeria Icaro was an absolute delight! The pizzas and pasta were incredible — perfectly baked with amazing flavor and texture. The staff were warm, attentive, and made us feel truly welcome. We especially appreciated that they offer both gluten-free and regular and pasta options, and the gluten-fr...ee pizza was one of the best we've ever had — crispy, fresh, and full of taste. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Nara who loves authentic, high-quality pizza!

“Amazing! Great gluten-free options!”
This place is amazing! Everything was delicious. My family ordered three regular pizzas and one gluten-free and everybody cleared their plate. We have been enjoying the Japan cuisine, but we were ready for some American food, and this pizza hit the spot! We went to the Nora Deer Park, and it took ab...out a 20 minute bus ride to get here, totally worth it! I also recommend reading their website, it is very interesting how this restaurant came about. We are very grateful for good, safe gluten-free food.

“One of the top gluten free pizzas anywhere.”
We are here after visiting Nara Park. We had an appetizer, drinks and pizza. I can't have gluten, and the pizza was absolutely delicious. It was also great to take a break in air conditioning . Gluten free items on the menu were clearly marked. We are from the pizza capitol of the U.S. and have also... been to Rome. I can count this is one of the best gluten free pizzas I have eaten, and probably better than anything I had in Rome. It isn't super close to the park, but so worth visiting.

“Fantastic !”
Fantastic gem of a restaurant … probably the best pizza I have ever had … we had a vegetarian version of the Gold Rush which was delicious with a fresh and organic salad . Great option for gluten free or allergies … very accommodating . Will be back to eat here next time I pass through Nara .
