Don’t judge a book by its cover. Small and clearly family run but it was empty on a a Tuesday night about 8. We looked into the window and the staff came out to greet us. We needed dinner, they seemed keen to meet that need so we took a risk and walked in. Best decision this year. Skewers and sala...d, a beer and a sour plum and ginger highball (very, very nice), 3300 Yen. They were so keen to demonstrate their English menu (via an iPad with pictures and electronic ordering), dinner was delivered without a hitch over 30 minutes. 2 more nights in Osaka so you might just find us there.
