Girasole

After a busy day of touring Hikone with its beautiful castle, parks and lake, we had hard time finding a place for dinner before taking the JR train back to Kyoto. Suddenly we came across this little place with Spanish/Italian food, quirky decor and young energetic servers and cooks. Some English is... spoken. The food was fresh, made nicely to order and tasty. The 3 of us had different things and enjoyed all of them, I even went for desert and ordered tiramisu which came in a small flower pot with mint leaves on top, pretty creative. Bathroom had a lot of amenities as well. strongly recommend this little gem to tourists.
