“Good kaiseki but very subtle for me”
First counter kaiseki meal in Japan. A v quiet place, essentially private dining. Minimal English was said but we got through it. The food was decent without mind blowing. Not the best kaiseki for me and disappointing for a 2 star. Didn't help i had a cold so relied on my wife to explain the flavou...rs.

“Excellent kaiseki experience”
Excellent food. Kaiseki style. Everything extremely tasty and optically well arranged. We had sake pairing, which was great. Had the table for four in the separate room.
