“The best Japanese inspired Spanish dinner experience”
I would give this bar restaurant more than 5 stars if I could. We arrived unannounced and were greeted with 2 seats at the bar, and observed what I can only describe as ‘an artist’ of culinary expertise. The food was so fresh and of highest quality, cooked/prepared in front of us as we enjoyed a pe...rfect wine pairing. The service and hospitality was commensurate with the food. Thank you. What a great experience

“Brilliant evening ”
My family visited for dinner and we were blown away by the seafood and service. It's more of a European vibe with the excellent wines and fresh fish. The highlight was the ruby sea bass grilled to perfection. One for the foodies.

“Wood fire smoked red snapper!”
Off the beaten path using pointing and google translate to communicate ! A little lost in translation on the Whiskey and coke :) fantastic wood fired red snapper.

“Good if you want a small meal and a glass of wine”
We were staying at the Citadines around the corner and found this place by accident. The place is small with some high tables and counter seating. We sat at the counter and were given an English menu. We had the tuna potato salad, the shrimp and chips (served in a newspaper-lined basket) and the squ...id ink croquette balls. We shared everything, but the portions are small. We had a couple of glasses of the French wine on offer. It's not cheap, so if you want to really tuck in, be prepared to pay more.

“Very poor”
At opening time half the food and wine menu was unavailable. The pricing are unclear and extortionate when not explicit. The quality of what was available was good but this place is a disgrace for a city like Kyoto. The staff is friendly and helpful but the management is clearly not interested in th...eir customers. To be avoided.
