“A real pleasant surprise.”
From the busyness and noise of Nara streets, this restaurant was a wonderful place of peace and quiet. Plus, it had lovely food at a good price. Service was good too. We highly recommend a visit as an antidote to the street of Nara.

“Crepes for lunch”
Lovely filling lunch in quaint surroundings If you feel like something different try this place on walk back from the deer park - a quiet haven with delicious crepes

“Nonsensical waste of time. Go elsewhere”
The room inside had several tables available but we had to wait outside for one hours for no reasons. Service is terrible, whit only for table occupied customers had to wait almost one hour for a crepe.

“Japanese-style French food.”
Being a fan of french galettes, I couldn't wait to try here. Unfortunately, it seems the taste & style is by a japanese chef trained at a french school rather than it being run by a french person. The galettes were triangular rather than square, losing out on the filling and the buckwheat did not se...em to taste the same, possibly sourced locally instead. Additionally the cider bottles on display everywhere were american, import the french cider!

“Special french restaurant around Nara park”
Small and special french restaurant run for Japanese woman. Good option to eat around Nara Park. They serve gallette, quiche, onion soup, tarts and crepes.
