“Japanese-style French food.”
Being a fan of french galettes, I couldn't wait to try here. Unfortunately, it seems the taste & style is by a japanese chef trained at a french school rather than it being run by a french person. The galettes were triangular rather than square, losing out on the filling and the buckwheat did not se...em to taste the same, possibly sourced locally instead. Additionally the cider bottles on display everywhere were american, import the french cider!

Small and special french restaurant run for Japanese woman. Good option to eat around Nara Park. They serve gallette, quiche, onion soup, tarts and crepes.

“Just perfect for a snack !”

We sat outside as it was a sunny day, and ordered a slice of tart each, one blueberry and one apple. The apple tart was the most delicious, and was served warm, while the blueberry was served cold. Service was excellent, and good English spoken. Would thoroughly recommend this little cafe for that taste of delicious European food ...
