“Wonderful”
This is not a "fine dining" place. Quite naked, clean and minimalistic. And first class food. We had wagyu on habachi with kimchi, and came back the next day for more. Had we found this place earlier. we would be visiting every day. My son, at that time 12 years old and traine gourmet (maybe I'm a ...bad father), changed his favourites list from "lobster and duck breast" to "waguy, lobster and duck breast". Which he still sticks to. I loved this place; the other tables packed with japanese customers, such as the "getting totally pissed on whisky after work" groups, families and teenagers. Do not miss!

“Very reasonable prices. Splendid service and very good food.”
Fantastic waguy which we grilled ourselves at the table. At a very affordable price. It was so good we had to return the next day. We spent only 3 days in Kyoto, so go figure.
