“Terrible food”
Ordered the $200 steak. Was well overcooked, fatty, and basically inedible. We ate about 6/35 ounces of it. Calamari was too fishy to eat. Dinner costed us $140 a pop and was barely edible.

“Super unfriendly for kids”
We wanted to enjoy some good Italian food here but never even came to order. We entered the restaurant while my small kid still had a rest of a hot dog from outside in the hand. We direclty were told very unfriendly that outside food is not allowed. We said we would order two main meals and drinks i...n the restaurant and my kid would just need less five minutes to finish the hot dog. We were told my daughter would have to finish outside of the restaurant. We then decided to better spend our money somewhere else. So be careful if you really want to eat in this highly kids unfriendly place!

“Five Stars Might Not Be Enough”
Exceptionally fine meal. It was our first visit, here in Kyoto for a few months, but it won't be our last. Unpretentious atmosphere with sophisticated cuisine and excellent service. The starters are fabulous, the pastas excellent, the secondi absolutely delicious and the deserts perfect. We eat... out so often that we seek out the rare place where the focus is all about food, freshness, and ingredients. We love "elevated" cuisine but not the dog and pony show that often can come with it. This is our idea of ideal.

“Lovely dinner”
We came for dinner and had a great experience. The terrace is beautiful, the food is excellent and the staff is lovely. The service was also very fast. One of the best Italian restaurants in Kyoto.

“One of my best dinner ever”
We ended up in this place by chance because we wanted an aperol spritz after 10 days travelling around Japan, then we had a look at the menu and a chat with the chef Andrea and we decided to stay for dinner. The best choice ever! Probably this was the best dinner we had since very long time. The env...ironment is very nice, the staff is competent and friendly, but the quality of the food and the way it's cooked it's simply amazing! We have have never been so happy about a fortuitous event. Non mangiato così bene da anni! Grazie ad Andrea e a tutto lo staff, complimenti!
