“Bad experience”
We stopped here because I want a coffe 720¥, but my boyfriend didnt, after ordering it and sitting one of the girls came and said my boyfriend to leave the coffe shop if he doesn’t order something. Not the expected behavior, really disappointing.

“Best coffee in Japan so far!”
We were walking to the Imperial Palace and desperate for a PROPER coffee after 8 days without one when we came across School Bus… we opened the door and immediately felt we were in the right place! We have visited 3 times over 2 days for breakfast, or a coffee or lunch. Each time the welcome from th...e staff has been so friendly 😀 and the coffee just great- especially today when we ordered an extra shot. If you are an Aussie in need of a coffee fix, you’ll be happy here 🤩 also amazing flaky croissants and other pastries , and a cute breakfast with bus shaped toast 🤣

“Great pastries next door”
We stayed at Hyatt Place Kyoto. This is right next door and we are glad we came! Super good pastries and drinks (hoichi latte)… four of us (2 kids) shared 9 items - yes 9!

“Don't believe the hype...”
Being English I dropped in for breakfast as I was at the hyatt place and fancied a change of venue. Breakfast plate was a bagel ( delicious) half spread with cream cheese, a bit of scrambled egg and a huge plate of salad also a frankfurter ( I personally don't like them) at 1450¥ ( about £7.50) incl...uding a coffee. Service was friendly. Soooo it's open til 9 pm according to the signage and we had been out for an early dinner so decided to pop in for a glass of wine ...it was 6.40pm. A few people in but the guy at the desk said they were closed??? So don't believe the opening times... also it was rather expensive. Some lovely coffee bars nearby I would rather go there. Looks nice but doesn't deliver sadly.

“Best coffee in Japan”
This has a wonderful vibe and the best coffee that I tasted when visiting Japan. The breakfast they serve is French toast and bacon or avocado smash with a poached egg. These two meals were beautiful. The decor and music they play gives a very relaxing atmosphere. It’s a great place for social group...s, or on your own. If you need to work on laptops it will also suit you. Staff were lovely and great service is important to them.
