“Surprise Ramen Find in a small town”
We wanted to go to Imaicho cho, an old Edo period town, but dropped at Kashihara cho Tourism Office as they can care for them gratis. Out of curiosity, we asked 2 kind elderly men at the office where we can get good Ramen in this town. They were more than willing to offer their help and told us to p...roceed to Tsukemen Ichibiri immediately as the queue would be forming soon as it draws close to lunch time. Their directional guide was spot on and we found the Ramen shop within any problem. We managed to grab the last 2 seats left at the counter. One need to order from a machine and this poses a problem as it is in Japanese. However, a staff help us with the order of 2 special, which is additional noodle and char Siew. We did not expect this but the broth was rich and full of favour. The noodle was least to say al dente. The char siew was also thick and soft. This shop gives good value for money and should anyone be around this vicinity, I would recommend dropping in to this shop to satisfy their Ramen craving.
