I visit here for the second time, excellent quality. They served the great quality aged beef at reasonably price. If you come couples you can have own private room. Please make sure you do your homework before visit as they do not have english menu. ( should be improved) However, this restaurant is ...A MUST for me every Osaka visit! See you again soon!

We love this place so much. We were there last December. This was our second time. The Kobe beef was delicious 😋 as usual. We met Mr Tsutsui again & he remembered us. He can speak English & he is so joyous & friendly as usual. He introduced us the best menu of Kobe beef. They melted in your mouth 👄.... Thank you Mr Tsutsui for serving us again & delicious complimentary of desserts 🍰. We will definitely come back again on our next trip. By the way, it is not too pricey for these great qualities of Kobe beef.

The four of us went to Tajumaya with the recommendation of a friend who ate there earlier and reminds us to make a booking before we go. We were ushered to a private room and was told that our dinner needs to be finish in two hours,which we knew it beforehand so dont feel surprise or unhappy. Their ...menu was in japanese and the staff basically speaks no English, so we have no idea how to order.We vaguely understand they have a set dinner for 7000yen per person,.but since we have no idea what they are serving so we decide to blind order our a la carte. We asked their manager to decide for.the four of us and when he asked.how.much we are planning to spend.we decide 10000yen per person can satisfy our crave for good quality beef for the night. So it turns out that we were served with about 7 or 8 different types of beef from different part of the animal,and each dish surprises us from taste,texture to the presentation. We enjoyed our dinner so much that we will definitely come back next time we visit.osaka. The one we went is in.umeda, they have two more branches that offer different service in a way. The one near namba city offers the all you can eat menu, and the one.near shishaibashi offers.shabu shabu so I reckon these two places cater for younger customers and the one in umeda are for the more serious foodies.

Luxe Tajimaya is located about a block south of the Umeda train station and a block east of the Osaka Hilton. It is open for lunch and dinner every day of the year. It is a steak restaurant that serves kuroge wagyu beef. The restaurant is really a Champaign and wine lounge covered with chic, black w...alls, decked with full-length mirrors. Since it is lounge, the chairs were a little uncomfortable as they were low lounge chairs and not regular table chairs. The menus were in Japanese with small English explanations. I went on a Tuesday night in early November with two other co-workers and had a good steak dinner. We wanted a table that had its own grill but they were all full so we ate on a regular table and they pulled over a portable grill for us. This restaurant cooks the meat and vegetables directly in front of you. I was told that the beef was aged for several weeks and it tasted really good. The beef was fattier so the portions were smaller (it would be hard to eat a large steak that was this fatty). My boss went here a couple of months ago and had the barbequed tongue and hated it (he strongly recommended I order something else – which I did). Overall I enjoyed the food and enjoyed my dinner. If you are staying near the Osaka Hilton and are in the mood for some high end beef I recommend Luxe Tajimaya.
