“Flavorful, if you like salty savory ramen”
the north is full of umami, delicious and flavorful but the flavor is rather deep and salty- so only for those who like it. the noodles are delicious.

“a differing ramen experience”
It was coincidentally that we took a late lunch at Suzume.Osaka’s outlet. We just visited Isshinji Temple and was walking along Tanimachi dori, in search of Ikutama Shrine 生國魂神社. Hungry and then we noticed this restaurant and walked in for a meal. The interior design is quite spartan, but unique ...on its own. We were helped served by a Chinese-speaking staff; a bonus to us! As per all Tsukemen - the noodles served separated from the broth. The noodles were yellow thick and chewy, unlike those we used to taste prior. The dark shoyu broth was a richer gyokai tsukemen that can be like a sauce itself . It was very flavorful, and tasted good with the very tender menma and chashu. There were kikurage mushrooms, menma, bean sprouts, and green onions as well. It was simple meal. Quite an experience!
