“the food was mediocre and the price was astronomical! 800 usd for 3 for lunch”
the meat was not warm and it was so expensive. The staff spoke pretty good english but it is probably a place where it’s easy to get a reservation… on short notice… do. not go!!! way too expensive

“Wonderful Staff”
Beautiful beef, forever grateful to have found a steakhouse that didn't require reservations to be made months in advance because I, a first-time solo traveler whose family back home was begging her to try Kobe beef, had no idea what I was doing. After spending the whole day stressed about how I was... going to find beef so as not to be an eternal disappointment to my family (who wanted me to try real Kobe beef so badly that they had already sent me the probable cost of my meal on Venmo), I stumbled upon this place. Incredible food was a given at a place like this, but what really made the experience for me was the staff. I'm a college student studying Japanese, and the sous chef(?) was a college student studying English, so we had a really fun conversation, and I really needed that at the time. I wish I remembered his name, sigh...if the third-year econ major who works at Kobe Beef San is reading this, please know you made my day! The owner was lovely, too. This was a great, quiet place run by great people and I'd highly recommend giving them your business if you're ever in Kobe.

“WOW”
From cali. Been traveling Japan for 3 weeks. Came to Kobe looking for the best steak. Tried this location because it has 5 stars on trip advisor. The restaurants cut names are a bit different than I am use too. We had 300 grams of rare cut 200 grams of sirloin cut and 200 grams of red cut. All cu...ts were amazing but the sirloin was unreal. Tender as a Marshmello. We had 700 grams of steak, rice, lite veggies, soup, tea 3 cola and 2 sake and the bill was just over 400.usd. This is my first first post and i’m not sponsored. I’ve worked in restaurants for years and I know a good steak from a bad steak; this was amazing.

The beef was absolutely amazing - very tender and tasty. The space is intimate and quiet, so it’s perfect for a date. The staff are warm and welcoming.

“ほっぺが落ちそう”
Highly recommend this restaurant! That kobe beef is super tasty. 真的是入口即化，完全在口中融化，超軟嫩 新開不到一年的店！食材超講究；不是神戶A4、A5不用（其實神戶牛也要至少有A4等級才算，但有些店家沒那麼誠實）而且這間的服務超好的!!!還有會中文的服務人員，歡迎大家來大阪神戶的時候順路經過這。 車站站名：#三宮駅 #さんのみやえき #Sannomiya
