“Poor selection for European taste”
The breakfast costs 4500 yen, which is aroung 30€. For japanese or even american taste, you can get to eat your moneys worth. But for people travelling from Europe, there isn’t much… Just coffee, white toast and fruit. They have a lot of warm dishes, so what I would have wished for would have been s...ome fresh oven baked bread and good toppings like emmental cheese, cucumber and lettuce. They have like 5 different types of juice, but I would have hoped one of them could have been smoothie.

“Dinner buffet”
Located on the 2nd floor of the Kansai Nikko Airport Hotel. This place is pricy however you can get a 10% discount if you have a One Harmony Membership, you also get a further discount if you are an ITM/KIX cardmember. Their dinner buffet is only available on weekends and holidays at the moment.... All the tables are socially distanced and they don't allow customers to use just any table - must be seated so many meters away from the next table. As for the food, they run themes. This month was European month with an emphasis on French. Next month is Indian and so forth. Many buffets have the typical problem of food being under the heat lamp too long. What these folks did is to control people's portion size by putting everything in individual servings. They only have to put a few things under the lights. There are multiple servers that serve the mains so the food stays fresh. It is a very good system to control food waste and maintain food quality. Now for the actual food. Nothing was outstanding or memorable but that is expected considering it is a buffet. Their appetizer bar was interesting, their cheese plate was very plain, and their pasta bar was good - they put it together on order and the choice of pasta was the type that doesn't go mushy, roast beef and steak were just meh especially with that sauce (avoid the sauce), and the dessert bar was just standard. You could order a Creme Brule from the meat stand and there was a chocolate fountain but those are never that great. But like any buffet, we left barely able to walk. Full satisfied. Would we come here again? Probably not but they do have a somewhat captured audience for better dining options are very limited on the airport island. So we may end up here when we have to do a layover again.

“RUBBER FRIED EGGS AT BREAKFAST”
I had breakfast and dinner at this restaurant. The breakfast looked quite large but unless you like all that Japaneese stuff you really have to look around. There was plenty to choose from all the usual breakfast, but no omelletes to order, I waited until a fresh batch of fried eggs came out and was... surprised that they were already like rubber plastic eggs, in the evening I had dinner had a steak that was quite expensive and very small but the thing was I had a soup which was supposed to be a starter but the soup and steak arrived at the same time, but that was all so I asked if there was any bread to eat with the soup, normally given in my country Ireland, my food was almost gone by the time the bread arrived and afterways I was charged 300y 3 Euro for a small roll. Money grabbing in my opinion.

“Delightful meals”
Had dinner and breakfast here and both were excellent - the meal is buffet style and offers the best of Japanese cuisine giving the uninitiated traveller the chance to try all available dishes

“Excellent breakfast buffet”
My family and I recently stayed at the Hotel Nikko Kansai Airport for one night, and our stay included complimentary breakfasts at the Brasserie restaurant. We were overwhelmed by the quality and variety of food it offered. So many things to try and they even have Japanese steak for breakfast!!! The... restaurant is beautifully decorated for the holiday. The service is also excellent! Highly recommend this restaurant if you are staying at the airport hotel 👍👍👍
