“Wagyu beef , love at first bite”
After not having been to Japan in over two decads, we really felt welcomed back during our time at bungo in Nazuna Tsubakidori. The attention to detail not only in the meals that were prepared, but also in the interactions with all of the waitstaff created a lovely environment for us to enjoy the wa...gyu course menu. Every course was beautifully prepared and balanced the elements of food in a way that mirrored the design elements of the hotel. Our favorites from the Oita Wagyu Beef Course were both iterations of the daily grilled dish (sukiyaki and miso sauce!) and the broiled Japanese beef tongue with salt- but every dish optimized the use of premium ingredients and subtle traditional flavor profiles in an innovative way. Thank you to our waitress who made us feel at home 🩷🩷💕

“perfect spot for relax and enjoying a great meal”
this is a great experience for a day away from the daytime walking activities, the food and the staff is great! fabulous place and even better if you are staying in the hotel
