Todaijimonzen Nagomi

This was an excellent dining experience. The wagyu beef was perfectly done to our asking. The atmosphere and hospitality was also off the charts. Would come back in a heartbeat. Thank you Mayumi! She was our chef, explained everything and made it incredibly fun.

When I got here, I thought I was walking into a house, shoes off and everything. And I see that I have two seating options. I chose the one with the window and only waited five minutes! The host then seats me and walks me through the menu. Almost immediately, my chef, Kanon, comes out and makes my h...alal wagyu steak for me! She held conversation, spoke to me in english and entertained my attempt at speaking Japanese. And since I was eating halal they gave me the options to ensure my comfort in that I only consume halal food! And then by the time my steak was ready, the miso soup and salad and rice was ready too! It tasted splendid and was perfectly seasoned and cooked. And see it live amplified my solo experience! It wasn't too gamey, and tender and melted on the first bite!

Chef Ryosuke was excellent, the steak was cooked perfectly. Very beautiful interior looking out over a garden. Very relaxing inside. The food was fantastic and the Kobe beef was melt in your mouth.

Fabulous experience. Mayumi cooked us two beautiful steaks and was very sweet and kind. Beautiful setting and attentive staff. Would definitely return.
