SAITOBIHIDAGYU SYHABUSUKI BAKUROICHIDAI Nagoya West

This is my second time visiting this store, and I was so disappointed at the staff service. Hope this restaurant really have somebody speak English and help to address the problem, or maybe it's because I was trying to dine along so they didn't care about me at all. I have to say, the hide beef here... is very delicious! Although the price is a bit high, I think the meat quality and price are well balanced. This is also the reason why I came back again for second visit. However, this time the staff really drove me mad and you couldn't complain much because they don't really understand English. So, I arrived to the restaurant around 9 pm and there's a lot of empty seats. I asked them if they can accept one person for dining, and the male staff told me to wait outside. I thought they were cleaning table so I waited outside patiently, I waited right outside the store where I can easily see me sitting outside. I waited for 20 minutes and still nobody asked me to come in, then I thought it might be a full-house for them so I didn't ask again. Until there were four people go into the store, and they also been asked to wait outside. Two minutes later, a waitress came and asked them to go in... Then, I was like "WHAT AM I WAITING FOR??" We stayed at the JR gate tower and walked to the restaurant which was recommended by a friend. Booked it online and used google to translate the webpage so no problem there. We had the 12000yen set and the portions were fairly generous so no need to order sides. The Hida beef has a different texture... (more tender) from Kobe beef (which has a stronger or game-like flavor). The place’s decor was quite modern and comfortable, ventilation adequate.

Had excellent belly busting Hida beef charcoal dinner set. Comes in multiple courses - all Hida Wagyu served/cooked in different ways - sashimi, sushi, tataki with vegetables, charcoal grill etc. Dinner sets comes in different pricing - JPY20,000 for the most expensive to less expensive but equally ...impressive JPY12,000 ones. There is also a la carte choices. The seating is quite private and interesting - for my table, its basically two seats surrounding the table compartmentalized by sliding doors. Booked via Google reservation services (as I do not speak Japanese) Would recommend and come back!

Birthday dinner here and did not disappoint. Private dining booth, staff are professional and above all the meats are delicious!! melt in your mouth awesomeness i dont even know how to begin. Its not cheap but definitely value for money for the beef you get. Just eat here， hida beef is the best. yu...m.

我們是台灣人。 為了吃有名的超值商業午餐所以禮拜六中午來到這裡。12點到已經沒有位子所以又等到13:30才來用餐。今天除了平常3000的套餐多了一個3500的特別定食，表比平常多了一個生拌和牛的手捲（真的不錯）。 服務員有點兇 We are Taiwanese. We came here at 12 during the Saturday noon. The lunch sets here were quite famous. We didn't make reservations thus we wait till 13:30. The lunch set was 3780yen and... the beaf was delicious. Though the dessert and the sushi seems to be quite normal, the rest of the meal was delicate. It's a shame that the service of the restaurant wasn't as well as we expected. Maybe we can try dinner next time.
