Rakuraku Kiseki-no Izakaya Meiekiten

My friends and I were trying to go to a burger bar but it was closed so we went to the next closest place because it looked kinda good. This is the best decision we ever made. I had asked for pasta and explained in very poor Japanese several things I did not want to eat. The waiter came back a bunch... of times to verify, asking if I would eat fried chicken and if I liked "tomato taste". He then pointed to a big pot cooking on one of the other tables and I nodded yes. My friend then ordered pasta with ham and he walked away several times while my other friend tried to order which was quite funny. Keep in mind they speak very little English and the menu is all in Japanese. Shortly after our 4th party arrived we were brought a giant tray of the most tender and non-greasy fried chicken (skinless!, rare in Japan) with roasted eggplant and daikon sprouts. A girl then delivered a gas burner with a giant pan of vegetables and bacon on it which she turned on to cook. We then got a plate of intentionally cold spaghetti with tomato basil sauce which was to die for. A plate of garlic bread came and we ordered another fried chicken. I had a glass of wine and my friends all had an ice cream. In total it cost less than ¥1500 per person. They were extremely accomodating to us foreigners (this is not always the case) and the food was fresh and delicious. Even with the language barrier the waiter/cook somehow brought us exactly what we wanted. Its a shame no one could actually read the menu. I will definitely be going back here if I can find it.
