仙石すし 本店 is the Japanese name. A lot of local eating here and there are already a line before the open hour. There is lunch set as well. The staff are very kind and helpful. Lot of smiles - if they love what they do and they do it very very well! Good experience than those conveyor belt places.Must v...isit.

“Great hope turned disappointment”
Food was average. Limited choices for foreigners but more extensive menus for locals. Certainly a popular place for locals as seats were filled rapidly. A smoking restaurant, not child-friendly.

“Great food and excellent service!”
We were looking for a good place for sushi and referred to TripAdvisor for recommendations in the Nagoya area. Sengoku popped up and we easily followed the given directions to the restaurant. While they had no English menu, we were attended to by a staff member who spoke it well. We ordered assor...ted sashimi and tempura and upon her advice, some of the restaurant's popular dishes, including deep fried tuna with beef and fried egg. The latter is the best that we have taken, ever. It is a popular restaurant with the locals and seats were quickly filled. At the end of an excellent meal that was paired with excellent service, the very reasonable total bill summed up a wonderful dinner experience for us. Would we recommend Sengoku? Definitely. And we look forward to coming back should the opportunity present itself.

“Nothing but great!!!”
Great sushi! Great service! Great price! We ordered a most expensive set and 5 more nigiris. Delicious sushi and 2890 was the bill. They told us that lunch prices are even cheeper. Next time in Nagoya, that's our sushi place for sure. They don't have english menu. But picture menu and basic englis...h communication did the job.
