On a cloudy day trip to Fuji - Found this place while driving past looking for lunch place - got very lucky !! We had the parmesan risotto, aglio prawns and mushrooms, prosciutto pizza and mushrooms pizza. The coffee was again exemplary. A group of 5 ate heartily at a great price with great customer... service. They spoke English which eased life too :)

Amazingly good food. I don't mean good food like the japanese version of italian is good, I mean better than we had in Italy!!! We had a long day of adventures and wanted comfort food we would be familiar with. The spaghetti was flavorful and so delicious. The tomato risotto had chunks of fresh tom...atoes and basil and was a little piece of heaven in your mouth. The people who work there are personable and have great english. We felt welcomed, were well fed, and it didn't break the bank. Thank you for a wonderful evening!!

Food was great, even the pizza crust blew us away, and the atmosphere was perfect. We’re not the easiest group to cater for but they effortlessly accommodated Gluten Free and Vegetarian.

La Luce is a short walk out of the main area in Kawaguchiko but it is well worth the visit. We had the most amazing food that was so fresh and tasty. My partner and I both had an eggplant, tomato and mushroom pasta with garlic bread (all made vegan for us) and it was outstanding. The staff were so w...elcoming and offered us soy cheese as a substitute to suit our dietary requirements. We can’t fault La Luce and highly recommend a visit.

Ordered a couple of pizzas and garlic toast takeaway. Fast and super friendly service, even though we got take away looked very cosy and welcoming in the restaurant. The pizzas were delicious, the base was perfect and toppings all very fresh.
