“Locally high level”
They don t speak english...fortunately we had near us a couple of japonese to translate ( no menu in english). But it s only the problem. The food is fresh and tasty. We are on the tapas way.you can choose a lot of small plates. The restaurant is small...maybe ask to your hotel for a reservation. O...nly bar seat

“Izakaya greatness!”
A small izakaya restaurant in a cute small street near the castle with really great food! The variety of local fish dishes cooked in various ways are great! Soft crab tempura and sculpin ( had to look it up! ) tempura was delicious!

“Fantastic little local izakaya restaurant with amazing food”
This restaurant in a small street in Matsumoto near the castle and station is a wonderful find. The chef creates beautiful small dishes similar to tapas in style but true Japanese tastes and fresh fresh ingredients. I think the chef is a genius with an intuitive knowledge of flavour combinations. Fr...esh shellfish, lovely vegetables done in interesting ways and all kinds of Japanese alcohol are available. Strongly recommended.
