“Nice to have Indian food at Japan”
The restaurant is small one with not a great style but good for Indian foods which is not easy to get in a area like Shizuoka which is 250km away from Tokyo. Comparatively OK cost when compared with other restaurants in Japan.

“Much dearer than TripAdvisor shows us”
A meal is more like US$20-30 per person. I don't know where that $8-10 figure came from. Pretty average food in an average setting. But Indian food is hard to come by in this part of town, so some eat here just to get an Indian fix, I suppose.
