“There Are Better Options But It Benefits From Its Strategic Location”
Aiya Restaurant benefits from its location in Gotemba. Our tour group en route back to Tokyo from Gotemba outlets went past this restaurant. With plenty of hungry mouths in the group, this was the choice we collectively came up with. Aiya offers Japanese cuisine on the menu. I had a rice with fish ...set menu but it was pretty non-descript for me. It was not bad but not good either. Service was all right but I do see it as a minus that there were unable to serve the miso soup all at the same time. More a beneficiary of strategic location rather than a place with good taste.
