Established in 1992 and in business for over 20 years, a restaurant offering authentic Korean household cooking.
"ARENMOKU" is a Korean term that describes being in the warmest place next to the furnace opening in a room with an "ondol" (floor heater). There is a long-standing custom in Korea of offering the ARENMOKU to guests, for it is a show of politeness. In order to properly regard our important guests, and with the notion of leisurely enjoying the Jeolla Province cuisine particularly delicious among Korean cookery in mind, we named our store ARENMOKU.
